If you’ve never been to a gluten-free expo, put one on your calendar this year. Walking into a room where every single vendor is safe for you — where your kid can sample anything on any table — is a feeling worth the drive. Here are the big Northeast events coming up, with dates confirmed as of this writing.

Wicked Gluten Free New England Expo — September 19, 2026 (next: September 18, 2027)
Saturday, September 19, 10am–5pm at the Game On Sports & Performance Center in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. This is the closest big expo for most of us in New England — vendor samples, shopping, and a crowd that gets it. Tickets are sold online through the organizer, with door sales starting at noon.
Update, October 2026: This one has come and gone. Here is our recap of the day, with photos and what we ate. The next New England expo is Saturday, September 18, 2027, back in Fitchburg.
Tickets are here — $27.50 for adults 13+, $8 for kids 6–12. Admission is timed, so you pick a 10am, 11am or 12pm entry when you book.

Wicked Gluten Free NJ/NY Metro Expo — November 7–8, 2026
A full weekend at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey — Saturday 10am–5pm, Sunday 10am–3pm. Worth knowing about if you have family in the NYC area, or want an excuse for a city weekend with a built-in safe food event. One heads-up: tickets for this one are sold online only, so don’t plan on buying at the door.

Wicked Gluten Free Connecticut Expo — February 27, 2027
Saturday, February 27, 10am–5pm at the Mohegan Sun Earth Expo Center in Uncasville — right here in Connecticut. Tickets are expected to go on sale in November 2026, and Mohegan Sun makes it an easy day trip or overnight for most of southern New England.

Looking ahead
Long Island: nothing is scheduled right now. Wicked Gluten Free last held a Long Island expo at Hofstra University in May 2024, and there’s no date on their calendar through September 2027. If one is announced I’ll add it here. The NJ/NY Metro expo above is the closest option in the meantime.
The Greater Philadelphia Expo lands May 1, 2027 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. And regional events pop up all year — celiac support groups, GF vendor fairs, restaurant weeks — so if you know of one I’ve missed, send it my way and I’ll add it.
Expo tips from our family
- Go hungry, bring a tote bag, and budget for the freezer case finds you can’t get locally.
- Even at a gluten-free event, ask vendors about shared facilities if you’re highly sensitive — “gluten-free” labels span a range of practices.
- Bring the kids. Watching them sample freely is the whole point.

Hi Lauren, thanks for asking. There isn’t a Long Island date on Wicked Gluten Free’s calendar right now. The last one was at Hofstra in May 2024, and their schedule through next September is NJ/NY Metro (Secaucus, Nov 7–8), Connecticut (Mohegan Sun, Feb 27), Philadelphia (May 1), and New England (Fitchburg, Sept 18, 2027). The NJ/NY one is the closest to you, and tickets are online only, none at the door. If a Long Island date gets announced I’ll add it to this post and put it in the newsletter.
